Hi again! We have successfully made it from Hvaler to Råde or Rygge! We had so much fun in Hvaler! We are going to miss our host families immensely...however, our new families are making us fall in Love with our new homes for the next week or so! Yesterday we toured the community building in Hvaler, which also serves as its "city hall". We then toured some Rotary projects which were amazing! We toured artwork sponsored by the Hvaler club on the coast, then we had lunch at a home for senior citizens where the club was building a sensory garden for the residents there. Afterwards, we visited a famous artist Øivind Sand! He is the father of the artist that constructed the Da Vinci/Sand bridge that is part of our logo, Vebørn Sand. They have a gallery in New York City! Afterwards, we had our Rotary presentation in Hvaler. This morning, we said our goodbyes and the transferred to our new Råde/Rygge hosts at Fredrikstad. We are so excited for our next week! Tomorrow is a vocational day and Thursday is a national holiday! We will be beyond busy, so I may not blog again until Friday or Saturday. If thats the case, I will talk to you all soon! Ha det bra!
