Hello again! We had another tremendous day here in Norway. In all of our excitement from yesterday, I forgot to mention that in addition to the Opera house and the Vigeland Park, we also visited the Akershus Fortress in Oslo yesterday ask well. It was magnificent. The oldest portion of the fortress dated back to the late 1200s! Now that's history. Anyway, I have added pictures from there yesterday, but I just forgot to mention it in my blog post. Today was another exciting day. The team visited a Norwegian Lutheran church for a Sunday service and we got to observe a traditional Norwegian christening. After the church visit, we went for a scenic hike in the hills surrounding Nittedal. The views were breathtaking and the company was even better. We spent the better part of 4 to 5 hours in the forest and we actually had a picnic lunch at a beautiful pond area. It was really an amazing day. To end our day, we traveled to another Rotarian's home for excellent food, drink, and stimulating conversation. We are loving Norway more and more every day and we can't say enough how much we appreciate how great our hosts are treating us. Once again, pictures to follow! Until tomorrow, ha det bra!
