Hello again! We have had such an exciting and jam packed schedule since Norway's Constitution Day! On Thursday, the team travelled to the Rygge Military Air Base, where we saw rescue helicopters and some old Norwegian jets. Mike got stuck in an airplane, but he eventually got out. After that we travelled to Moss, where the Moss Convention of 1814 was signed. It was basically a peace treaty between Norway and Sweden that created the union of the 2 nations that would last until 1905. The team, and I know I personally love the history of Norway that we have been learning. After Moss, we went to dinner with the Norway GSE team that came to Western PA last year. It was really exciting to meet that team. Today, we toured Fredriksten Fortress. It was truely breathtaking. According to our tour guide, it has never been captured. After this tour, we took a short shopping trip to Sweden, since items are much cheaper there than in Norway. Lastly today, we toured a prehistoric exhibit. We saw areas that archeological finds we're made, and we even saw som old rock any ravings from thousands of years ago. It was exciting! Anyway, tomorrow, we go canoeing, and then we wake up early Monday for our big trip to Bergen on the West coast. So, until later ha, det bra!
