Hello again everyone! We have had nothing less than an incredible past 2 days. On Monday, the crew took off for Bergen, on the west coast of Norway. Everyone said that it always rains, but boy did we luck out. The weather was fantastic! We left our Råde/Rygge families at 5:00 in the morning and headed on a train towards Oslo. We the took the Bergen train west across beautiful landscape. Next, we took the Flåm train to a fjord. That ride was beyond words in how scenic it was. We then road a boat for about 3 hours or so looking at some of the most beautiful scenery on earth. We hopped on a bus, headed to Voss, then we finally took a train to Bergen. We were treated to a spectacular hotel and dinner in the evening. Today, we toured Bergen. Norwegians say it is the most beautiful city in Norway, and I'd have to agree. It was amazing. We toured a huge sailing ship, looked at a medieval fort, walked the old narrow streets, took the tram to a stave church, then we took what I would describe is an inclined plane to the top of one of the mountains where we had an amazingly scenic lunch. Afterwards, we toured some fish markets and did a little tourist shopping. By that time it was time for us to head back to Oslo to meet out last group of host families, so we packed up, got on a bus and went to the airport, where we flew back to Oslo and onto our next and last round of families. We have been so busy lately that we forget how much fun we are having! Tomorrow we are touring Oslo again, Thursday is a vocational day and Friday is time for us to get ready to come back on Saturday. Where did the time go? Well, until next time, ha det bra!
